Is exploitation a byproduct of capitalism?

I'd call it a combination of the two. Some people would exploit others in any situation; others treat people well even under oppressive systems. The main fault of capitalism is that it provides random rewards that encourage acceptance by those who are exploited. The old premise of I'll get lucky and become a millionaire if I just work hard enough. Same principle as the lottery works on.
