Where should i apply for college?

I'm a very hardworking student in southern california and want to be realistic on what schools I actually could attain admissions to. I am a black male and neither of my parents graduated college. I'm am planning on studying sports medicine b/c I love basketball, football, Math, and Science [although I'm not extremely talented in Science(A's and B's)]. I also am interested in history and I have played the trumpet for 8 going on 9 years. I am well versed in both symphonic and jazz music. I know colleges are looking for diversity, but I don't how far that can take me. My overall GPA is about a 3.8 and still rising. Please help!!!!
